Item #6101 - 16 x 9 x 8
For delayed castration
(up to full maturity)
The newest bander in our product line, the Callicrate PRO Bander™ has been on the market since 2016. The PRO Bander™ is used for delayed castration (on animals up to full maturity), de-horning, and prolapse treatment. The lightweight Callicrate PRO Bander™ uses a loop with a self-locking clip, thus eliminating the crimping process, and the large loop opening makes placement easy.
Additionally, the timesaving, convenient built-in cutter cuts the loop quickly and correctly with perfect results every time. No more reaching for the cutter and no more lost cutters! The 360-degree tension indicator can be read easily from any angle and bright green loops help to visually confirm, after banding, that the loop is secured and placed properly. The scrotum should drop off in 20 to 45 days. The Callicrate PRO Bander™ may be used on cattle, goats, and sheep or other livestock with a scrotum.

We recommend watching the instruction video in its entirety. It is important to use safety precautions when using any equipment. Please wear safety glasses. Do NOT use a scalpel. Use the Callicrate Cutter™ included with the bander kit.
Tetanus is a risk with any form of castration. Proper immunization controls tetanus risk. Tetanus toxoid (not antitoxin) must be used. It is important to read and follow vaccine instructions especially in nieve cattle in endemic tetanus areas. For more information contact your veterinarian.
