Flag Dash is tactical board game version of capture the flag. There are two teams consisting of three character pieces controlled by one or two players per side. Actions are chosen in secret by selecting from a deck of cards, and placing two of them face down. Order of operations is then chosen by putting tokens face down on the cards. The tokens determine not only when an action will take place in the round, but if the player gets any other added benefits like bonus movement points, or the ability to play an extra action.

You may be reading the above and thinking “hey, that sounds like Robo Rally”. You’re not wrong, but for various reasons I like Flag Dash more: the layout of the cards makes things easier to read; each character has unique abilities, leading to different team synergies; and there are two different victory conditions (getting the team flag to your side of the sidewalk, or capturing the three player flags from the opponent’s pieces).
