Mit einem unverwechselbaren Klang beim Schalten durch die Gänge, gepaart mit verbesserter Leistung und verbessertem Drehmoment, alles integriert in einem Voll-Titansystem, bietet die Slip-On Line Abgasanlage aus Titan das echte Akrapovi? Erlebnis und erfüllt gleichzeitig die ECE-Typgenehmigung. Das aus leichten hochwertigen Titanlegierungen hergestellte und mit zwei Sets von Karbon/Titan-Endrohren veredelte System verfügt über komplexe Teile, die in der hauseigenen Titangießerei gefertigt werden, darunter die Ventilgehäuse und der Kollektor zwischen dem Mittelschalldämpfer und den Endrohren. Zwei Ventile – eines auf jeder Seite des Schalldämpfers – passen den Gasfluss so an, dass der unverwechselbare Akrapovi? Klang entsteht, der sich deutlich von dem des X5M mit Seriensystem unterscheidet. Der Klang der Abgasanlage ist am deutlichsten bei den Gangwechseln und beim Beschleunigen wahrnehmbar. Mit dem optionalen Akrapovi? Sound Kit (P-HF1310) kann das noch weiter kontrolliert und der Hörgenuss verbessert werden. Akrapovi? hat bei einem Vergleichstest auf dem Akrapovi? Prüfstand mit einem BMW X5M mit einer serienmäßigen M Sportabgasanlage eine Leistungssteigerung von 12,1 PS bei 2.400 U/min und eine Drehmomentsteigerung von 35,4 Nm bei 2.400 U/min gemessen. Es besteht außerdem die Möglichkeit für ein weiteres Tuning der Abgasanlage durch das Hinzufügen des optionalen Evolution Link pipe set (E-BM/T/11) aus Titan. Die Verwendung des Link-Rohrsatzes verändert den Gasfluss und entlockt dem Slip-On Line System aus Titan den bestmöglichen Klang. Zusätzlich hat Akrapovi? Zubehörteile entworfen, die das schöne Finish der Systemendrohre zu unterstreichen. Mit einem aus Karbon handgefertigten Diffusor in matter und glänzender Ausführung kann dem visuellen Erlebnis eine besondere Note verliehen werden. Nach der Installation des Evolution Link pipe Set (E-BM/T/11) ist die ECE-Typgenehmigung der Slip-On-Line Abgasanlage aus Titan nicht mehr gültig, eine Neuprogrammierung des Steuergeräts ist bei diesem Einbau obligatorisch. Ein optionales Akrapovi? Sound Kit (Bestell Nr. P-HF1219) zur Steuerung der verschiedenen Soundeinstellungen ist erhältlich. Durch den Einbau des Evolution Link Pipe-Set aus Edelstahl (Bestell Nr. E-TY/SS/1) bestehen optionale Abstimmungsmöglichkeiten, da bei Verwendung des Sound Kits durch das Anbringen des Link Pipe die ECE-Typgenehmigung nicht mehr gegeben ist.

With a distinctive sound as you shift through the gears, coupled with enhanced power and torque, all encapsulated in a full titanium system, the Slip-On Line (Titanium) offers the Akrapovi? experience while meeting ECE type approval. Constructed from lightweight high-grade titanium alloys and finished with two sets of carbon-fibre / titanium tailpipes, the system features complex parts crafted at the in-house titanium foundry, including the housing of the valves and collectors from the central muffler to the tailpipes. Two valves – one on each side of the muffler – tailor the gas flow to help produce that unmistakable Akrapovi? sound, which is distinctly different from the X5M with a stock system. The exhaust tone is most noticeable as you move through the gears and accelerate, and this can be further controlled through the addition of the optional Akrapovi? Sound Kit to provide increased aural pleasure. Akrapovi? has achieved power gains of 12.1 hp at 2,400 rpm and torque increases of 35.4 Nm at 2,400 rpm when tested on the Akrapovi? dyno against a BMW X5M ith a stock M Sport exhaust system for comparison. There is also the opportunity for further exhaust tuning through the addition of the optional Evolution Link pipe set (Titanium); using the link pipe set will change the gas flow and deliver the best sound possible from the Slip-On Line (Titanium). As a further enhancement, Akrapovi? has created optional parts to change the visual appeal of the car and accompany the beautiful finish of the system’s tailpipes. With a handmade carbon-fibre diffuser, an added special touch can be made to the visual experience. With the installation of the Evolution Link pipe set, ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is not valid, and remapping the ECU is mandatory when it is fitted. With the installation of Akrapovi? Sound Kit, ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is not valid. For installing the slip-on system, the stock exhaust system has to be cut.
