Hardcover with dust jacket.  Maroon cloth boards, gilt titles and design,.  Boards show light wear.  Dust jacket shows wear to edges, small tears, chips, some soling (now in a clear archival sleeve).  Interior pages clean, bright, unmarked.  Pictorial endpapers of young lad and lady approaching tree w/silhouette in foreground of mercury atop pedestal and young satyr-like being sitting upon foundation.  Previous owner's information inside front end paper.  Excellent Binding. Bottom closed edges have a scrape (see photo) open pages show only a tiny indentation.  Illustrated with fifteen full-color plates printed in rich hues, and variously sized b&w decorative headers and tailpieces throughout.   Book: 6 1/2" x 9 1/4".
