In 2020 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Manila Mint, re-strikes of the 1920 Wilson "So-Called Dollar" were offered. The re-strikes are struck using the original obverse die (HK 449, 450 & 1031) engraved by George Morgan of the Philadelphia Mint. The re-strikes, struck by Daniel Carr (with assistance of Jeff Shevlin, the So-Called Dollar Guy) of the Moonlight Mint, are 38mm, the same size as the Wilson "Dollar" (technically a medal as the piece is not legal tender). The Wilson reverse shows a representation of "Juno Moneta" (the goddess of money and minting) kneeling and watching over a nude youth who is pouring planchets (coin blanks) into a coining press.
This over-strike using the Wilson Dollar dies was struck on a slightly smaller half dollar. This photo is the exact over-strike being sold.
