Offered for auction is this Darling Vintage Purinton Mountain Rose Basket Planter. This Slipware Puriton Vase is 6½” High.  I remember almost all of my friends families having some of these pottery pieces in their home since one of the plants was fairly local! I actually had family that worked at the plant in Tionesta Pa. Upon first look the Basket appears in Excellent Condition but while I was wiping it off with a damp cloth for pictures I noticed there is a crack around the base of one of the handles. It obviously has never completely broken. I don’t know if the crack it just in the glaze or not. I have not picked up by it’s handle since I discovered this even though the pieces in not heavy. Otherwise the piece is free from any Nicks, Chips or discoloration. Please see photos above as they are part of the description/condition. Most items I found well packed away with other Vintage & Mid-Century items in my Families Estate, came with items I was been given or maybe I picked them up at an Estate Sale any way they are now up for auction! I am a collector of vintage items but by no means am I an expert on or describing this item (or much of anything for that matter!) but I have tried to do my best. If I have omitted anything it is not intentional.

Now for the fine print!  I guess some people would call it “Terms”!

Shipping –Shipping costs are not negotiable and are not refundable. All shipping costs are based on the weight & size of the items. I have already considered the safest, most economical way to ship the item & I cannot control the rising costs of shipping!  I will ship as soon as eBay makes the funds available. Sellers no longer get immediate payment & with the costs of shipping I cannot pay for it out of pocket. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM!!! Unless it a very small package or an item that will fit into an envelope I always use USPS Priority Mail. I use an EBay tool to calculate an estimated shipping rate to charge a flat rate to all buyers. Priority Mail automatically includes $50 Insurance & Tracking. (More Insurance will be added to items over $50). I pack in bubble wrap and sturdy boxes, padded envelopes or appropriate packaging for the item regardless of what I am shipping. I am not responsible for the Postal Service handling once the package leaves me. If the postal service handling causes damage the buyer is expected to make the insurance claim online. It is the quickest way for the buyer to get their money back.

Global Shipping Program: BREAKABLE ITEMS SHIPPED THRU THE GSP IS AT THE BUYER’S RISK!  I cannot guarantee the handling of the package, I ship securely with plenty of bubble wrap. Bubble Bags & Foam when needed. No Returns or Refunds for breakage or damage that is beyond my control.

Multiple Items /Combined Shipping- I am always happy to combine shipping on packages ending within 3 days of each other unless the item is extremely fragile or large and them combined shipping will not be offered!. Please contact me to let me know & I will combine the weight of the items and send a revised invoice with updated shipping charges. If you pay before I send a combined invoice, I will not be able to combine. Please Note. I CANNOT Combine Shipping thru the Global Program.

Bidding /Payment /Shipping Handling Time - You bid, you win, and you are expected to pay!  The item will be shipped within 2(TWO) business days of eBay releasing the funds. Payment is EXPECTED within 3 (THREE) days of the auction. Payment MUST be received WITHIN 4 days of the end of the auction. (Unless other arrangements before the 4 days). If at the end of 4 days you still have not communicated with me or made other arrangements (I am easy to deal with, life happens) eBay will automatically open a case for non-payment. Unfortunately, a run of non-paying bidders have forced me to take this step, please make sure you wish to buy the item before you bid.

Picture(s) – The actual item that you will receive. If something is not in the picture then it’s not included. Props such as boxes, hangers, rulers or coins are not included. They are only in the picture to help display or gauge the size of the item.

FYI- I have a tidy Non-Smoking Home but I do have a Siamese Cat that is my life. She for the most part doesn’t go near the room I keep items for auction but I cannot guarantee that you will not find a stray cat hair on something I sell. Cat Hair is my favorite accessory so more likely than not it came from me!

Issues/Problems – Please contact seller prior to leaving any feedback.

Feedback – I leave feedback for all buyers only after I have received my feedback. Feedback is very important to sellers and is the responsibility of the buyer to leave feedback so the seller knows that the item was received. Feedback is also important to bidders because many sellers will not let people with low or poor feedback bid on their items. If you think that the treat of negative feedback is a way to bully me into partial or total refunds without using eBay guidelines or my Terms you will not get anywhere…….. I will not give into bullies or scammers.

Warranty/ Liability – New old stock (NOS), used, antique, vintage, and "AS IS" items do not have a warranty.  Seller assumes no past, present or future liability for any item sold.

No Product Support – Know exactly what you are buying, the application and how to use the item as intended by the original manufacturer.
