Our 3 strand sisal rope is 100% natural fibre rope made from sisal plant.
Sisal is a stiff and hairy texture fibre rope which is very popular for cat scratching posts, and also for lashing, agriculture, and garden use, also very popular for arts and crafts.
Sisal rope is made from natural fibres and therefore will shrink when wet and lengthen when dry so please keep this in mind for your measurements, sisal can shrink by a minimum of 15% when wet.
If using outside the rope can be treated with a timber decking oil or linseed oil to prevent corrosion over time.
