Vey large antique copper engraved view of Erramanga in New Hebrides or Vanuatu, showing the Captain Cook's crew battling with native warriors in 1774. 

The view is engraved by Benard from a drawing of William Hodges (1744-97).

Condition : very good condition, strong paper.

Edition : Paris, Saillant et Nyon & Panckouke, c. 1777, XVIIIe Century.
