Vintage MOPAR door lock for 1953 & 1954 Chrysler & DeSoto vehicles.
NOS OEM. MOPAR part #1520638. Yale part #RDP966.
This lock is identical to the one used in the 1949, 1950, 1951, 1922, 1953, 1954 Dodge & Plymouth and the 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952 Chrysler & DeSoto (MOPAR #1315510) with the exception of the location of the retainer clip slot. On the MOPAR #1520638 in this listing, the retainer clip slot starts 1/8" from the inside face of the lock (see photos). On the MOPAR #1315510, the retainer clip slot starts directly adjacent to the inside face of the lock.
Includes 2 original aluminum Yale keys, key code tag and original paper packaging envelope.
The lock has been inspected and serviced by our expert locksmith staff. It works smooth as silk and looks like it was manufactured yesterday instead of over 60 years ago.
