Offered is an early radio coil.  This one is a disk type.  It is 2 1/2 inches in diameter.   The center shaft has raised and narrow sections for panel mounting with a ferrule or bushing.  2 1/2 inches in overall length. Small slotted setscrews hold the shaft to the coil assembly.   The form is Phenolic disk construction with copper-colored rivets holding it all together. The coil is wrapped in two sections on either side of a center line.  There appears to be a dozen or more turns on each side of the coil form.    Probably 1920's vintage and used in the antenna circuit of an early radio.  Nice condition, flat with no cracks or chips.  Grab the early coil for your own collection or for a project on the bench right now.  Mouse over the photo images to zoom in. NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking.
