An advanced 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor is at the heart of the Samsung NX2000, capturing lifelike colors and beautiful images with the highest resolution in its class. The camera has an ISO range from 100 to 25,600, so you'll be able take great photos in different lighting situations. Measuring 23.5 by 15.6 millimeters, the sensor collects a large amount of light, making the camera well suited for out-focusing photography and for shooting noise-free images in low-light conditions. 

Intuitive Touchscreen to Review and Edit Photos

To help you clearly see and edit your photographs, the NX2000 is equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen display. There are no physical menu buttons cluttering the back of the camera--all of the menu options are built into the display. The touchscreen shows a full spectrum of colors, so what you see on the screen matches your subject.

Wi-Fi Connectivity for Easy Sharing

Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, transferring your images and sharing them no longer requires memory cards or cables. You won't have to worry about running out of space, either. With the dedicated Direct Link hot key, you can quickly connect to Wi-Fi networks. Once connected, you can save photos and videos directly to a computer or cloud service as you shoot. Print photos wirelessly or share them with your friends instantly by uploading them to Facebook or YouTube. 

Connect to Your Smartphone for More Features

The NX2000 features Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and works with Samsung's Smart Camera App (for Android), so you can instantly pair your camera with your smartphone and take advantage of features such as AutoShare and Remote ViewFinder.

When AutoShare is activated, all the pictures you take on your camera are automatically sent to your smartphone. Remote ViewFinder turns your phone into a viewfinder and lets you preview images, adjust camera settings, frame the scene, and tag the shot location from up to 30 feet away. When you need to take a group shot with yourself in it, Remote ViewFinder makes it easy. 

Samsung Link to Connect with Other Devices

Thanks to Samsung Link, you can connect this camera wirelessly with other nearby Samsung Link-enabled devices and share photos and videos or upload them to your web storage service. 

Cloud Service Backup

Never worry about losing your photos, even if your camera is lost or stolen. If your camera is connected to Wi-Fi, the NX2000 will automatically copy the images you take to a cloud service such as Microsoft SkyDrive. This feature not only automatically backs up all your photos, but it also lets you free space on your memory card by deleting shots without fear you'll lose them. 

Continuous Shooting for Fast-Moving Subjects

Using the NX2000 Smart Camera, you can shoot continuously at 8 frames per second (FPS) and take brilliant, clear stills of fast-moving action--say, a sports game or a performance. This helps you capture those fleeting special moments before the subject moves out of the frame.

Full HD Video Recording

The NX2000 also has 1080p Full HD movie recording capabilities. Use the bundled lenses for a cinematic experience, or choose from a wide range of lenses (sold separately) to get the scene you want. The CMOS sensor gives you precise autofocus even as you're shooting. 

3D Photos and Videos

The Samsung NX2000 lets you take your photos and videos to a new dimension with support for true 3D. When you combine the camera with a 3D lens (sold separately), you get true 3D photos and videos (3D TV system required to view in 3D). 

Smart Mode for Special Effects

Tap the smart mode button to take advantage of numerous special shoot modes. Action Freeze mode lets you capture a high-speed scene, such as in sports, while Fireworks mode is perfect for shooting pyrotechnic displays. Use Light Trace mode to capture trails of light at night on a busy intersection full of red taillights. 

A full copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 is included for photo management and post-processing.
