First numbered page is page 9, which looks to be correct, the first text page. Heavy wear, crease and fold on free pages. Quite a lot of dust, small dirt, in the gutter in the first half of the book. All text pages are bound and free from tears. All pages have marks, stains, browning, crease and fold. Some pages have, but very few, edge nicks.  Marks on about 10 pages where a paper page mark was left. There is corner bumping and the page edges are brown. First free page has some pencil script, just a line or two and then some modern notation; maybe a pencil price and a catalogue system. There is a three inch closed tear on second free page at the gutter.

Seller believes the Bible dates from the late 1820s (on/after 1826 and on/before 1830), printed published in Philadelphia by George W. Mentz No. 53 North Third Street, Philadelphia. From seller's research Mr. Mentz prior to 1926 had a different Philadelphia address and then after 1830 he worked with his son (Mentz & Son) and/or a partner(s), which had several (Mentz & Cohn,... etc).  Kimber and Sharpless in Philadelphia  are given printing credit on the New Testament title page, see photographs. Also, from Rev John Wright's D.D. book, 'Early Bibles of America' 3rd Ed., 1894:
"Kimber & Sharpless of Philadelphia published a
German Bible in quarto in 1827. They also issued
a i2mo New Testament in 1839. G. W. Mentz
published a New Testament of the same size and
at the same place in 181 1, 1828, and 1830. G. W.
Mentz & Cohn issued a i2mo Bible in 1833 and a
reissue in 1834, and the New Testament in 1841."

The Wright book is available online in PDF. Note, this is a large Quarto bible, 9.5 x 12,
and not a smaller 12mo, 5x7, bible( the PDF has i2mo, likely an error). It is possible that Mentz also published an edition of the bible
in 1827 a long with Kimber & Sharpless edition.

Seller provides the German text of the title page and then its English translation.

"Biblia Das ist Die Ganze heilige Schrift des alten und neuen testaments nach der deutschen UEBERSETZUNG d martin luthers Mit eines jeden Capitels kurzen Summarien, auch beigefügten vielen aufs neue berichtigten Parallelen Philadelphia Herausgegeben von ms G. Mentz, Buchhändler53 nord dritte strasse."

and

"Bible This is the whole Scripture of the Old and New Testament
according to the German translation of Martin Luther's short summary
with each chapter, also attached to many newly corrected parallels
Philadelphia Published by Mr. G Mentz, bookseller No. 53 North Third Street."

Seller had difficulty reading the text of the publication information; Mentz's initial
and his title. Corrections to errors are welcomed.

Seller did not translate the New Testament page and the publication information there, seller only
noticed the Kimber and Sharpless printing/publication credit right before listing. It is likely this
bible is from 1827, when Kimber and Sharpless printed their bible, or its the same bible.
