Large, nice and unusual antique copper engraved map of the region of Auxerre and Sens (France), by Willem Janzoon BLAEU (1571-1638), XVIIe Century. 

The map extends from Orleans in west to after Sens and Auxerre in east, from Corbeil north to Auxerre in south. 

The map is decorated with 2 very nice cartouches and a nice coast of arms of the region. We can see the sun in lower left side which seems to have a look on the map.

Size with margins :  56 x 44 cm / 22 x 17,3 inches

Edition : Amsterdam, 1644, 17th Century, French edition.

Condition : very good condition, old colors.
