Glass is clear and clean; there is some wear to the neck where the stopper rubs against the glass.

The bottle is etched 'ANNO 1980' on the front and 'Cognac Monnet, France Carafe no 317' on the bottom.

Bottle measures 8 1/2" tall without the stopper. With the stopper it measures about 11" tall.

Base diameter is 4 1/2".

There are no glassmakers marks seen.

It's heavy, weighs 3 lbs, 12.7 oz.
