Solar Air Heater (OS22)

Solar air heater operates by taking in air from the room and through a special construction inside the panel. The air is heated by the sun several times absorb the heat energy and then delivered back into the room.

The heated air is blown into the house by a fan powered by the built-in solar panel. The solar air heater is temperature controlled so the fan turns off when a pre-set temperature is reached.

It helps to offset the heating cost up to 50%. Easy installation and maintenance free make it one of the most attractive methods for providing heat in the winter.

         Solar air heater installation:

1.   1. Highly recommend to install it on a south facing wall outside (south-east, south-west work as well). The sun is low in winter. It is perfect on the wall where there is no snow covering. Make sure there are no trees or any shading on the panel. The built-in fan does not run if the panel is shaded. Do not install on the existing window.

2.   2. If roof mounted, install at a deep angle 45 to 65 degree.

3.   3. Make 2 holes of 4” diameter on the wall.

4.   4. Install the duct and vents provided. Insulated the duct if needed.

5.   5. Mount the panel and connect the thermostat provided.
