Letter sent to Gerardo Machado, fifth president of the Republic of Cuba (1925-1933). It should be noted that during his administration there were works that last until today: the Capitol of Havana and the Central Highway.

The letter has as its central theme the book written by Augustus Lindbergh and the possibility that he could obtain a copy signed by the author himself.

Augustus Lindbergh (Detroit, February 4, 1902 - Maui, August 26, 1974) was an American aviator and engineer. In 1927 he reached the status of the first pilot to cross the Atlantic Ocean, from west to east, joining the American continent and the European continent on a solo nonstop flight. In 1954 he won the Pulitzer Prize for literature with his work "Spirit of St. Louis ", a story about his famous flight.

Carta enviada a Gerardo Machado, quinto presidente de la República de Cuba (1925–1933). Cabe destacar que durante su administración se realizaron obras que perduran hasta el día de hoy: el Capitolio de La Habana y la Carretera Central. 

La carta tiene como tema central el libro escrito por Augustus Lindbergh y la posibilidad de que pudiera obtener un ejemplar firmado por el propio autor. 

Augustus Lindbergh (Detroit, 4 de febrero de 1902- Maui, 26 de agosto de 1974) fue un aviador e ingeniero estadounidense. En 1927 alcanzó la condición de primer piloto en cruzar el océano Atlántico, de oeste a este, uniendo el continente americano y el continente europeo en un vuelo sin escalas en solitario.En 1954 ganó el premio Pulitzer a la literatura con su obra "Spirit of St. Louis", un relato sobre su famoso vuelo.
