The Himalayan is billed as being designed for all roads AND no roads!
We
think it really has been too! Since we first got our hands on one we
have ridden along byways (BOATS) lanes, mountain pass's & fire
tracks.
And on the 18th of March 2018 (in snowy conditions) we recorded the bike's first European race win at Champs Parc Enduro Track in Northants.
The preparation for the trail riding & Enduro racing made us really look at the bike to see what we could "Beef up"
We wanted to minimise the risk of something going wrong & damage ruining our fun.
A common problem on Adventure bikes is snapping a lever in the event of a minor drop. Imagine being miles
from anywhere & snapping the front brake lever off!
Thats why most proper Adventure bikes wear decent Handguards.
These also help keep the wind off your hands & protect you from
tree branches etc. when out on the trails.
These handguards sourced by us fit well & have been crash tested by us on many occasions.
(So far, we have only managed to scratch the surface of these guards - even in temperatures below freezing!)
We tried at least half a dozen sets that didn't fit/work properly before we discovered these.

NOTE -
You will need to tilt screen to forward position.
The left side inside fits between the choke cable & clutch cable & the right side between the brake hose and the throttle cable.
Fitting time by competant mechanic - 20 minutes.
