Eric Bottomley 1987, Oil On Canvas Original Painting.

This an excellent example of Eric’s work in very good condition.

The frame is a replacement one from an older painting and although it suits the painting very well, it is of shabby chic style and could do with a touch up depending on your taste.

Eric’s paintings sell for up to £3500 unframed so this should be a bargain. More of his collection can be found here:

Important note: All my paintings come with an extremely detailed proof of sale and invoice that certifies the specific painting’s authenticity and is hand signed by myself. I remain fully liable for any misrepresentation and have adequate assets to readily cover any such eventuality. All my paintings have been researched extensively and to a greater extend than any other seller of the same artist, whether that is a top gallery, or, a top action house. In some cases, many months of painstaking research and expense will go into a specific painting to fully understand the what, the who, and the why. If I am not 100% certain of what I am selling, I will simply not list the painting until I have such clarity, however long that might take. I only sell paintings so as to be able to acquire new ones and learn about new painters. Many of my paintings would be better sold through a well known gallery rather than through eBay, however, a big part of my motivation is to allow maximum exposure to quality art and eBay is by far the most readily accessible medium for that. I believe that art is all about knowing the artist well and understanding their motives for the specific artwork, their choice of subject and the composition itself and, if possible, even their choice of the exact materials used to construct it. As such, if you would like more info about a painting than what is on the description, please ask. In most cases, I have volumes of background info that I don’t share as it’s impractical to do so in one listing. I never sell a painting that I have not spent a few years admiring myself. You can rest assured that what you are buying is exactly as stated. Whether you decide to buy a painting or not, at least spent some time appreciating the art and gaining some insight on it.

Delivery: If at all possible, I will try to deliver a painting myself so as to avoid damage. If that is not possible, I will discuss with you options and agree with you on a method that is both practical and safe. All paintings will be packed professionally so as to minimise the risk of damage while in transit.
