LED Upgrade Mod for 3D Printer Top Rail/Upright.

Easy upgrade for 3D printers, takes 10-15 minutes and only needs hex (Allen) keys* and a Phillips screwdriver. No soldering, wire stripping, or anything other than basic skills required, which you will have already more than demonstrated in assembling your printer in the first place! Any parts that can be will come pre-assembled and step-by-step instructions specific for the printer option you select are provided; this is powered by the printer PSU, so does not require a separate power supply, and is fully removable.

*these hex keys will have been supplied with the Ender printers, other printers may vary.

I had been looking for a suitable kit for a while, but only found over-elaborate/fiddly/aesthetic and expensive options, so decided to make my own. This kit does not impinge on common upgrades around the top rail, so should be fine for modded as well as totally standard printers, and sits neatly within the rail to avoid glare. The LED’s are ideal for use with Raspberry Pi/Octoprint cameras, particularly for the Spaghetti Detective plug in and you don't want to leave a main light on, or simply for visually checking on your print with no monitoring software. 

Permanent=on/off with printer power switch
Switch=independent on/off switch
Dimmer Switch=independent on/off/dimmer/mode change (pulsing, pulsing speed)

Kit will be sent pre-tested and prepped suitable for the selected printer. If you would like a colour that is not listed, have a different printer (or voltage), aren't sure what variation you want, or anything else then please contact me prior to purchase and I will do my best to accommodate. I understand most printers will be able to use this kit, but I would have to take a look case-by-case.
