Delivery & Service

Depending on the products purchased your delivery will be made using Appliances Online's own delivery trucks (large items), and or Australia Post's national delivery distribution service (small items).

Large Items

Delivered for FREE by Appliances Online trucks. We will even unpack and remove the packaging as well as take away the old disconnected appliance if required (all for FREE of course).

Once you have completed your purchase our system will process your order and confirm your delivery date. In the unfortunate event we have to change it, we'll be in touch to confirm a new date.

On the day of delivery our drivers will call you before 10am with an approximate 2 hour delivery window. However, if your delivery is scheduled for 8am or earlier (deliveries can be made as early as 6:30am), your driver will call you as they leave the warehouse

We offer free setup and connection of fridges, washing machines and microwaves (conditions apply) only. Certain connections and installations (such as dishwashers, ovens, cooktops etc.) require a paid installation service which can be selected during checkout.

Keep in mind:

All items must be signed for and your driver will need to sight a photo ID (this can be a representative of the person who has placed the order). For the delivery of AV products, if you have paid using VISA, American Express or Mastercard, the owner of that credit card must be on site when delivery takes place. Our drivers must also sight a photo ID showing you reside at the delivery address. If for some reason the owner of the credit card cannot be on site for delivery, for example the item is a gift, or we are delivering to a business, please phone us on 1300 000 500 to discuss the possibility of alternative arrangements.

If stock is not available from our local warehouse, we may arrange for it to be delivered direct from an interstate warehouse or direct from the manufacturer, to avoid delays. (we will let you know prior to delivery if this is going to happen).

Old appliances being removed from your home must be similar to the new appliance to be delivered, and fully disconnected from power, water and gas (gas disconnections must be performed by a licensed plumber) prior to our arrival.

Small Items

This product will be delivered free of charge by Australia Post's reliable national distribution service.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide a set delivery date, though these packages usually arrive in 5-10 days for in-stock products (interstate and out of stock items typically take between 8 and 16 days to arrive).

We will process your order, and the item will be picked by our warehouse staff. We will be in touch immediately if there are any issues with your order. Your new item will be collected from our warehouse and delivered to you by Australia Post.

As soon as Australia Post processes your package, you'll receive a text message with the tracking number to track your delivery's progress.

To ensure a safe and secure delivery, you will be required to sign for the package when it arrives at the delivery address.

If you are unable to receive the delivery, the package will be taken to the nearest Post Office, and a note from Australia Post will be left in your letterbox. You will need to provide proof of ID when collecting the parcel from the Post Office.

    Manufacturer's warranty

    All our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty. Note that you will need the tax invoice from your purchase to make a claim. If you lose your original tax invoice please let us know and we will re-issue it. Note that most small appliances have no "in-house service". If your appliance requires servicing you will be required to take it to your nearest approved service agent. These agents can be located by contacting the manufacturer directly.

    Commercial use warranty

    If you're buying an item that will be used in a commercial environment, the manufacturer's warranty may only cover a maximum of the first three (3) months of the full warranty period offered for domestic use.

    Customer Care Plan and Business Customer Care Plan

    Appliances Online offers Customer Care Plans that cover the parts and labour required for the repair of goods that suffer mechanical or electrical failure, within Australia for a period of two (2) or three (3) years outside the term of the standard manufacturer warranty.
