 Description:

Collector “mascot”, NOT TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD.

We are the only ones to have been able to manufacture it. It took a very long time to draw a completely accurate blueprint, using genuine mascots, close photos, archive documentation…

This mascot is entirely built as originally made as per original design of Gabriel VOISIN himself.

Each part is solid first grade aluminum (no unsightly oxidation visible nor possible), then painstakingly hand-cut, hand-shaped, hand-drilled, and hand-polished. The whole mascot is then carefully hand-assembled. The hardest step is riveting everything tight without damaging the rivet heads. No machine can do it. We found the way.

Due to the multiple technical challenges, we could only make a few pieces (less than 35) : only 3 (three) are now left.

Thousands of  VOISIN lovers would love it, but we figured we could only be able to make a small number of them be the elected happy owners of this mascot. Once exhausted there will be no more. The price reflects the production costs.

This precise totally accurate REPRODUCTION is fitting any VOISIN automobile. It is delivered with a removable solid aluminum double base, enabling it to grace the desk or personal interior of any VOISIN, the world famous French luxury brand.

Be aware that most “original” VOISIN mascots have totally disappeared throughout the decades, to the point that even the mascots presented on the hood of the really important cars, are almost always either in poor condition or repaired and/or are approximate reproductions, sometimes made a long time ago, some remotely faithful to the original design.

This one is the exact reproduction of the 1920's items, with all the exact dimensions, genuine wing angles, certified shapes etc...

Also, it is far LESS COSTLY to buy it from us than trying to do it yourself or having it done somewhere else by your dedicated “very good and cheaper” craftsman. We truly DEFY anyone to do it proper.

Dimensions:

The overall height, from ground to the tip of the wings, is 22.5 cm (= 8.858 inches), without the circular base.

Thickness of the 5 interior aluminum plates: 5 mm each (total 2.5 cm = 0.984 inch).

Thickness of the aluminum wings: 3 mm (= 0.118 inch)

Thickness of the mascot, at the base of the wings: 31 mm (= 1.22 inch)

Weight: about 300 grams (= about .66 Lbs of solid aluminum).

Condition:

100% as described. Best possible quality of manufacturing skill and of polished aluminum. Handmade as originally made in the 20’s. Therefore not two mascots are fully same and none has the “tell-tale” annoying perfection of a machine-made object.
