Wu Ling San - 五苓散, Hoelen Five Formula (Black Pearl)

Actions: Strengthens the Spleen and drains Damp, boosts Qi transformation and diuresis.

TCM Syndromes: Retained Fluid or retained water (due to Spleen deficiency).

Indications: Acute gastroenteritis, acute or chronic nephritis, Meniere’s disease, ascites, congestive heart failure.

Signs & Symptoms: Oedema or fluid retention; Oliguria; Sensation of bodily heaviness; Poor appetite; Fatigue; Pallor; Loose stools or diarrhoea; Tongue has a white and slippery coat.

Dosage: Adults take 8 pills, 3 times daily, half to one hour before or after meals, with warm water, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
