The folder it is in has Portrait by Toussaint's on it; it has some 'acid paper imaging' which shows up in the 3rd picture. The colors are extremely vibrant and bold and will not disappoint.

 British artist, flower painter – “…first exhibited a flower piece, at the Royal Academy in 1795. During the years 1796–9 Mary Lawrance published a monograph entitled A Collection of Roses from Nature, which included a series of coloured plates from her own drawings. 

Her Sketches of Flowers from Nature was published in 1801, followed by Collection of Passion Flowers Coloured from Nature in 1802. In 1804 she was living with her parents and sister in Queen Anne Street East, London, where she gave lessons in ‘drawing Botany at ½ a guinea a lesson & a guinea entrance’ (Farington, Diary, 6.2301, 19 April 1804)…

She married Thomas Kearse in…Up to 1830 she continued, under her married name, to exhibit studies of flowers, which were finely executed. 

She was a friend of the horticulturist Robert Sweet, who named the Rosa lawranceana after her.”
