Add this automatic STOP then GO module to your Christmas Tree layout to have the train stop in front of the Christmas tree and after a short pause proceed.
With this small inexpensive circuit board kit you can set up a small single track oval or circle layout that runs automatically with an adjustable stop time from 1 to 60 seconds. This set-up is most commonly used to simulate a station stop. After a pause the train continues to repeat the process. Ideal for a Christmas Tree train setup.Two setup options are given with the instructions. One involves using a section on track where the locomotive is stopped and a second simpler setup simply turns power off to the entire track during the stop time. The later is best for simple Christmas layouts around the Christmas tree.
The Kit consists of
1) Fully assembled STOP and GO Circuit Board
2) 1 x Reed switch that is set in between the rails to detect the train
3) 1 x 9 Volt Battery Holder with a slide switch to power the unit and turn OFF/ON . A Standard Alkaline battery (not included ) is required to power the circuit board.
4) 2 x Neodymium magnet discs. One for the locomotive to activate the reed switch + one spare.
5) Complete instructions on how to install the system are included and available at the website.
Notes: Works only with DC operation, not DCC.
Soldering may be required. Connection wiring is needed 26 or 28 AWG solid.
