The Coat

A timeless single-breasted overcoat rooted in the English covert tradition. Cut from a premium blend of wool and cashmere, this coat is designed to be worn over suits, blazers, and knitwear throughout the colder months. The distinctive black velvet cotton collar adds refined character, while the understated black satin lining gives a sleek, tonal finish throughout.

At 44 inches from collar to hem, it falls just below the knee, the classic length for a covert coat. A concealed 3-button placket keeps the front clean and uninterrupted, and the single centre vent at the back allows ease of movement whether walking or seated.

Every detail has been considered: from the four external pockets (including a ticket pocket) to the two internal pockets, this coat is as functional as it is elegant. The wool's natural lanolin coating provides water-repellent protection in light rain.

1Stand relaxed wearing a shirt (not a jacket or thick jumper).
2Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms.
3Keep the tape snug but not tight — you should breathe comfortably.

5Between sizes? Size UP for a comfortable fit over a suit or layers.
