ACTIONS: Reduces food stagnation & promotes digestion, regulates the Qi and harmonises the middle Jiao.
INDICATIONS: Indigestion (due to over consumption), gastritis, chronic cholecystitis.
SIGNS & SYMPTOMS: Epigastric or abdominal fullness, Belching, Nausea, Acid reflux, Loss of appetite, Symptoms worsened eating, Tongue with a thick greasy coat.
DOSAGE: Adults take 8 pills with warm water, three times daily, at least half an hour before or one hour after food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
CAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS:
* Do not take at the same time as iron supplements as the tannins in Crataegus fruit interfere with the absorption of iron.
