What does the Addison's emergency ID & Alert bracelet do?

QUICKLY provides first responders AWARENESS of your medical condition/s and FURTHER DETAIL about YOU to ANY phone, tablet or PC.

Firstly the faceplate of your bracelet is engraved with your medical condition (if selected). Lifting the faceplate reveale a fanfold waterproof ID card on which you can write concise information about yourself inc Name, condition, medications and contact.
On the reverse is a unique ID number which becomes YOURS. You can activate this free at www.you-id.me and register lots of helpful types of information such as Name, emergency contacts, numbers, medical conditions, medications, blood group, NHS number, Allergies and Donor preferences.

The Addison's Disease Medical ID Bracelet is an emergency ID solution providing fast access to your ID, medical and/or contact information in the event that you have an emergency, from any connected smartphone, tablet or PC - anywhere in the world.

 

Remember: You can easily and optionally list all your medical conditions, medications, blood group, NHS number, allergy information, donor preferences and any other important information plus you can even upload legal medical documents.

It's all made possible by registering your unique You ID Me number which features in the engraving on the front of your alert bracelet (if you have selected one with engraving). 

In an emergency...

In an emergency a first responder can quickly and easily access your vital lifesaving information from any smartphone, tablet or pc by entering your unique ID number on the You ID Me website.  The image above is an example of what a first responder might see. You register your own medical information when you activate your unique ID number supplied with your bracelet.

Instant alerts to your contacts' mobile phone

Setting up your SMS alerts* is easy. Do this and your chosen emergency contacts will receive an emergency SMS alert letting them know that you have a problem. If the first responder provides their details then You ID Me will also pass these on to your emergency contacts in the alert message, like this: -

Activating your Addison's Disease Medical ID and Alert Bracelet

You must register (activate) your ID bracelet before you wear it. If you do not then you will not be covered by the You ID Me service.

Your unique ID

When you receive your Expanding Emergency ID Bracelet register your unique ID code at once:-
 
1) Visit the You ID Me website
2) Click on "ACTIVATE ID PRODUCT" 
3) Simply follow the instructions
 

What information can my bracelet ID profile store??

You may store as much or as little emergency information as you choose for example you can optionally store:-
 
  • Your name
  • Your emergency contacts & their numbers
  • Your medical condition/s if applicable
  • Your medications if applicable
  • Any allergies
  • Your blood group
  • Your donor preferences
  • Any other important information

*You ID Me Service Clarification

When you activate your medical ID and alert ID bracelet your ID profile will be automatically upgraded to our Platinum Plan for 90 days. This allows the emergency 'Alert My Contacts' SMS feature and provides a small number of free SMS alerts (5) for use during the free upgrade period. 
 
When your upgrade period expires your ID profile will revert to our Gold Plan which is then FREE for life.
 
Most features continue to work as before except the SMS service. If you require the SMS alert service to continue you may upgrade to the Platinum Plan. Upgrades are optional and other plans are also available. You can choose to pay monthly or annually.

Optional plan upgrades

Gold Plan: Allows you to store unlimited emergency medical information.
Platinum Plan: Sends SMS text alerts to your emergency contacts in the event your tag is used in an emergency.
 
Please note: Smartphone is included with your bracelet.

Payment immediately using any of Ebay's payment methods. Item will be dispatched only once full payment has cleared.

 

We aim to ship on the same or next working day. We use Royal Mail 2nd class for most items which may take 2-3 working days though is usually faster. If you require your product sooner please use one of the other shipping options available in this listing. We cannot dispatch faster unless one of these options is selected and paid for.

Engraved products are shipped direct from our engraver so you may receive two items in relation to your sale: 1) your engraved item and 2) your activation details and receipt for your purchase.

We will not accept return of any item that is unfit for resale; fluids are provided in hygeinic heat sealed packaging. If this is removed we will not refund. Nor will we be responsible for returning the item back to you.

Custom printed or engraved designs such as ID products and clothing can not be returned or refunded. Buyers accept and agree to this when they make their payment.
