CBN resin bond sharpening stones are especially recommended for sharpening/polishing of cutting edges.
Concentration - 100% and 200%
Material / abrasive: CBN - cubic boron nitride.
CBN has the best cost/productivity ratio for processing of STEEL, comparing to diamond and misc. cheap stones.
CBN stones are similar in qualities to Japanese wet stones, but have ten times longer working life.

the finest grain size is Grit 30000 = 0.5/0 micron (fine polishing),
the coarsest - Grit 80 = 200/160 micron (rough grinding).

Special resin bond BN-130, does not glaze/clog.
Flat solid block on aluminum blank.
Preparation
Stones with grits finer 3 microns either require preparation (dressing, breaking the stone) with SiC powders, or they will be self-polished after sharpening of 30-50 knives. Then they will be of gold color and work well.
Use and cleaning (unclogging)
If glazed - clean (unclog) with alcohol and toothbrush.
Maintenance (in 1-2 year), flattening/revitalization with silicon (silica, SiC) carbide powders on glass plate.
