Sellers Condition Descriptions

Note: Most books are used (unless otherwise noted) and may have stickers/marks from the previous stores/sellers.  Condition is based on overall condition of the book.

• LIKE NEW:  Like New: A book that looks new but has been read. Cover has no visible wear, and the dust jacket (if applicable) is included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover.
• VERY GOOD to Like NEW: A book that is closer to like new condition than very good condition but may show some minor creasing/wear on the binding.  Between the very good and like new condition descriptions.
• VERY GOOD: A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. May be creasing/wear on the binding.  All pages are tight.  No rips or tears on the cover.  No missing or damaged pages.  No underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.
• GOOD to Very Good: A book is between Good and Very Good condition descriptions.
• GOOD: A book that has been read but is in good condition.  Minimal damage to the cover including scuff marks and/or creasing but no holes or tears. The dust jacket for hard covers may not be included. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing.
• Acceptable to Good: A book is between Acceptable and Good condition descriptions. Cover shows more than minimal wear but is still in good condition.
• Acceptable: A book with obvious wear. May have damage to the cover but integrity still intact. The binding may be damaged but integrity is still intact No missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text.
