Up for your consideration is this Nice Vintage Cup & Saucer which are simply marked Made in Japan. The Blue Cup with gold trim features what I believe to be a young Victorian gentleman courting a crooning a fair young lady. While I believe these pieces are made by they same company I question whether they were originally a set as the equally colored blue saucer features a cluster of strawberries. Perhaps they had strawberries on their date? I do believe the gold trim work is a little different on each piece but they are what they are. Handsome cup stands approximately 2 1/2 inches high while the matching saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Both pieces are in good used condition with no chips, cracks or chiggers. Beautiful old cup and saucer with a low opening will make a nice addition to any cup and saucer collection.
