CasterHQ's 'LD' Series Rigid casters with 3 inch Polyurethane on Polyolefin core (PP) wheels feature a heat treated ball bearing raceway and a bright zinc plated finish. These casters are ideal for light and medium duty material handling, carts, equipment, and shop projects. Polyurethane wheels provide great protection for floors in commercial and industrial settings. Polyurethane on Polyolefin wheels feature an extreme resistance to water, oil, and grease. Being non-metallic, these polyurethane wheels are also spark proof. Top plate size: 2-1/2" x 3-5/8" with ball bearing swivel. Bolt hole pattern: 1-3/4" x 2-7/8" to 3". Mounting Height: 4-1/8" 260 lb capacity per caster. CasterHQ's 3 Inch Rigid Fixed polyurethane on polyolefin core wheel is non-marking. The tread is a 95 Shore A Durometer which is a harder tread which is very Durable and increases the rollability of the equipment compared to a Thermo Plastic Rubber wheel. Polyurethane will not be as shock absorbing compared to a Thermo-Rubber Plastic Wheels but the polyurethane tread is more resistant to abuse and heavier weights as well as grease, oil, acids, and wash down applications. Polyurethane wheels are designed to withstand exposure to many chemicals, acids, grease, and water. This material has a hard 95 Shore A tread Durometer allowing the wheels to carry a heavier load and decreases resistance between the wheel and floor allowing the user to roll the equipment or cart much easier than a softer tread wheel.
