A beautifully carved satin mahogany napoleon mantel clock with gold metal bezel. This ornate 40.5cm long Napoleon clock features scalloped base bevel and beaded details. About Us

We are a family run business originating in the beautiful department of the Vaucluse in the renowned region of Provence.

Distinctively French was started in 2007, inspired by living in the world famous antiques market town of Isle sur la Sorgue in France. Being surrounded by small, elegant and exclusive boutiques gave us the idea of bringing unusual and beautiful French style items to the UK.

As the business has grown, we now source from all over Europe, bringing to the UK unique products and beautiful things. We try to buy from smaller, family businesses where possible so that we find products that are not on the high street or in the chain stores.

With our contacts across Europe, we have access to an enormous and ever changing range of products, which we can source to order.

Shipping

Tracked Shipping on our products

We deliver all items using a tracked service within the UK. Estimated delivery times can be seen on the detail page of each item. Please see item listing for dispatch times as these will vary depending on the item purchased.

Smaller items are delivered by Royal Mail Tracked 48. This should arrive within 2-3 working days for delivery within the UK. Items may arrive slightly later near Christmas and after bank holidays. We also offer an expedited next day delivery for a small extra charge.

Larger and heavier items are sent via courier and will arrive within 1-2 days. You will be advised when your item leaves us, and it will be delivered and fully trackable to a UK address. A signature may be required. If your mobile number is provided the courier will send a text with your delivery window. You will usually have the option to change the delivery date, location or offer a safe place where the item can be left. Instructions to do this will be given on the text.

Click and collect for delivery to an Argos store is also available and the above shipping times apply.

We also deliver most items to countries within Europe. Postage costs and shipping times are available on the item or can be requested if you send us a message via Ebay.

If you require an item to be delivered outside of Europe please contact us for the postage costs.

Returns

We really hope that you love your purchase as much as we do.

We sell a lot of products and sometimes things go wrong; If you receive an item that you are unhappy with for whatever reason, please first send us a message and we will respond quickly with possible solutions.

We will of course pay for any damaged or faulty item to be returned. As much as we would love to, we simply cannot afford to pay for all returns, so if you simply do not like your item, please return it to us within 30 days, ensuring it has all of the original packaging, and we will provide a full refund of the original purchase cost.
