Kair System 150 (SYS-150) Rectangular Ducting is designed for use with medium to high capacity extraction systems and cooker hoods. It is perfect for flush fitting against ceilings and walls and can be concealed above wall units or inside ceiling voids. Made in the UK using uPVC Plastic. Flat channel ventilation ducting pipe can be used a variety of ventilation purposes. Rigid flat pipe offers superior airflow performance to flexible ducting. Max / Min Temperature: +60c / -15c. Can be cut to suit. Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations. Airflow performance independently tested by BSRIA or BRE. Free Air = 16223mm². Static Pressure Drop in Pascals: 15 l/s = 0.19 Pa - 30 l/s = 1.95 Pa - 60 l/s = 2.01 Pa. Installation Tips: Kair plastic ducting pipe is lightweight & easy to install. You simply push-fit the duct pipe and fittings together. For permanent fixings, you can seal the joints with a method of your choice (Popular options include silicone sealant, solvent cement, or tape). Plastic ducting can be carefully cut to the required size using a hacksaw. Offcuts are always useful to keep to hand for joining two male fittings Lengths of duct channel can be joined together using a female connector (Part: "DUCVKC652"). We recommend that you use flat channel ducting clips to fix ductwork to walls and ceilings and support ducting tube (Part: "DUCVKC664"). If your duct run passes through a particularly cold area, we would recommend considering using our pre-insulated ducting to avoid condensation building up within your ductwork.
