DESCRIPTION/CONDITION: Written by Michael Barrier, the noted animation historian, who also curated the exhibition --- this scarce, beautifully put-together booklet/catalog provides a history and most interesting, an insightful analysis, of the development of animation art at Disney. It is in Near Fine condition and was purchased directly from Disney.
The ground-breaking exhibition, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Mickey's first appearance, combined video with more than 120 items from the Disney Archives and books from the Library of Congress collection. It was extremely popular and ran from November 21, 1978 to January 30, 1979.
