This is the Original (1sh) movie poster AIRPORT.  It was used by Universal to promote this movie when it was released in 1970.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin, Jean Seberg, Jacqueline Bisset, George Kennedy, Helen Hayes, Van Heflin, Maureen Stapleton, Dana Wynter, Barbara Hale, Barry Nelson, and Marion Ross.  The poster - like several other "disaster" movies which I will be listing on eBay - pictures each of the prominent actors on the poster in almost a "Holloywood Squares" sort of fashion, "Squares" being a Tv show for those of you old enough to remember it - like me:).

This unrestored movie poster is Folded and measures 27" x 41".   Most original movie posters pre-1985 are Folded.  This is not considered a flaw or defect.

This original movie poster is graded C7.0, Fine/Very Fine.  Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc.  It is difficult to find any pre-1985 original movie posters graded C10 (Mint).  A grading of C7 is respectable.  For this poster, the main flaw is the missing paper at the bottom center of the poster on the poster's border.  Linen backing and even a good frame can alleviate most of this flaw.   If restored in this fashion, one is left with an excellent poster probably grading it up one notch to C8 Very Fine.
