This is a 100% original, used bourbon barrel head. These are not the reproduction heads that are commonly sold online - this is pulled straight from a used buffalo trace barrel - and shipped to you!

Buffalo Trace barrels are hard to come by - the stamps will not be perfect. There will be lighter/darker areas. This listing is for a raw, uncleaned, unsanded head, straight from the distillery, off the barrel and to you. The proof is in the smell! 

If these are going to be used for display, they will need to do some work to secure the slats - and these will have wax, etc around the edge. They are not display ready. If you want a display ready head, please check my other listings.

Typical handling time is 1-3 business days. Custom orders (display-ready heads) are up to 10 business days.

The barrel heads are sorted into different grades. This listing is Grade A/B heads with a Large Stamp (see pictures). Only ~1 in 5 heads that are received are high enough quality to be sold under this listing. Lesser grades are sold locally in bulk and blank or small stamp barrel heads are a separate listing. 

This is for 1 (one) authentic stamped head randomly picked. Brands include Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Clermont Springs, Old Grand Dad, Knob Creek, Woodford Reserve, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and more! Please do not message asking for a certain brand! This is simply a cheap way for you to get an authentic barrel head to use for your liking!

Heads are tongue and groove or dowel rod and NO adhesive is used on authentic barrel heads. So they will need reinforced or glued to be properly used. They are shipped in their entirety but may split apart in shipping due to these not being adhered - this is normal and expected. Heads are picked first off the stack. Stamp clarity and color will vary.

Heads are about 1” thick and 21” in diameter, but this can vary slightly.
