Cordierite pizza stones are very strong and durable. As a material, cordierite is commonly used inside furnaces and pizza ovens due to it's resistance to thermal shock at extreme temperatures which makes it far superior to ceramic baking stones. Cordierite is a heat resistant mineral and safe for food use.
Cordierite is the preferred material for baking pizzas and breads.
For this reason, cordierite is our preferred choice for using inside stoves when cooking pizzas on our Hellfire Pizza Cooker and Grill Sets inside wood burning stoves. These have been SPECIFICALLY made to fit the Hellfire Pizza Cooker and Grill Sets - but can also be used on top of baking trays / oven floors in domestic ovens and on bbqs.
As they are quite small, you may want to put two or three together to create a bigger surface area - such as for creating the floor on top of vermiculite inside a home made pizza oven.

Goods must be returned in new, unused condition and fit for resale.
In the case of halogen oven bulbs, these are only deemed acceptable for return if sent back in SEALED packaging. The exterior tape on the package must be INTACT and not have been cut or these cannot be accepted due to very specific handling criteria.
