olive green cloth with blue titles to cover & gilt titles to spine, slightly canted (leaning) spine, rough-cut page edges, handling/soiling wear,
2 small red ink dots near spine on front cover, browning to half-title page, rest of book slightly browned pages,
except colour plates - still bright and clean, no inscriptions.
Brunton has collected ten Celtic myths, simplifying names & places to give the sound rather than the difficult Gaelic spelling.
Illustrated with 4 colour plates- one repeated pasted on the front cover, by Noel L. Nisbet,
who illustrated several collections of Fairy and Folk tales for Harrap during and after the First World War.
There were no other Editions printed.
