This history of Glenelg approaches it from the establishment of the urban village in 1836,
and it's growth and absorption into the City of Adelaide. From it's beginning, Glenelg functioned as a village after Proclamation,
growing into a renowned resort area and eventually was absorbed into the greater City of Adelaide.
Features many maps showing the growth of Glenelg, and many black & white photographs from the 1870's and 1880's.
