Local South Australian poet/author Martin Johnson has looked at the history and growth of forest plantations at Mount Crawford in the Mount Lofty Ranges. 
With anecdotal conversations of local identities - rangers, fellers, millers and townsfolk, he has put a human face to this history. With black and white photos of original tree felling and transportation of the timber.
