Kewra Absolute Oil

Kewra flowers have a very sweet fragrance with a pleasant quality similar to rose flowers, but Kewra is fruitier. The watery distillate (Kewra water) is quite used in sweets. The oil also known by variety of names such as Kewra Oil, Keora Oil, Kewda Oil, Kewra Absolute Oil.


Kewra Absolute is widely used in Perfumes and various food preparations. Kewra Essential Oil also has various medicinal uses and often finds usage in several herbal medicines (we do not recommend medicinal use unless you are an expert). 


Kewra oil is basically extracted out of the flowers of the Kewra plant. This oil has number of benefits and it is widely used in the aromatherapy treatments to calm down the body. Because of its sweet and flowery fragrance, this oil is used in the preparation of many perfumes. It is also known as screw pine or Kewra.


Kewra Oil is extracted from the flower called Kewra that is well-acknowledged for its sweet flowery fragrance. It has a sweet fragrance with pleasant quality that is similar to rose flowers. The watery distillate is widely used in perfumes & in a variety of food flavor preparations.


The Kewra flower is an only available in the Orissa region of India where there are scores of factories situated for the extraction of the absolute and oil of Kewra. It has a wonderful sweet aroma similar to Rose but more fruity. This is a hard to find Absolute with a beautiful scent. It has well anti oxidant, anti septic, anti fungal, anti-inflammatory properties.


Benefits & Uses: Having excellent fixative properties, it is mainly used in perfumery industry and in aromatherapy applications. Further, it is also used in traditional medicines (we do not recommend medicinal use unless you are an expert).


It has very Strong Floral note used primarily for Sweet Supari, Pan Masala and Chewing Tobacco Compounds. It has also been used for making Attars.


Kewra oil has got a very sweet, rich and flowery fragrance so; it is widely used in the perfume industry. It is used as a key ingredient in the preparation of various perfumes. Many people prefer buying those perfumes which have the fragrance of Kewra.


This oil has soothing and calming effects on the body so aromatherapists widely use this oil in various aromatherapy treatments. Kewra oil is said to give a very soothing and relaxed effect deep peace of mind.


It is used as an active ingredient in various recipes. It is said to give a nice fragrance to the food and adds a unique flavor to dishes, and make the dish more relishing and delicious.


Kewra oil is also used by experts extensively used as an antibacterial and an antiseptic. Since this oil has stimulant and antispasmodic properties, it is applied on the rheumatoid pains to help. This oil has therapeutic uses too.

There are many, many ways to use Essential Oils, here are just a few...

Massage - Our oils are strong, so please do not use them directly on your skin. Adding a few drops to a carrier oils (such as Grapeseed oil), and then massaging it on to your forehead, palms, neck, back, feet or other affected areas work wonders.


Making your own products - Many of you like create your own soaps, candles and beauty products, and these oils are perfect for that. They are of therapeutic grade, natural, pure and all hand bottled in the UK, making them ideal for you creative souls out there who make your own products.
