Tissot 1853 Water Resistant (30m) Sapphire Quartz Crystal Men's Swiss Stainless Steel Watch.

I’m not sure if this watch is original. I have inherited it and I’m not a watch expert so any questions please ask. Since listing, an eBay member has advised it’s not original. I’m not so sure how they can deduce that by simply browsing the photographs but I feel duty bound to be straight and advise all buyers accordingly. All I can say is that it has put doubt in my mind!

In lovely condition as in 12 pictures attached. The glass appears near perfect but there are minor scratches to the back-plate and the clasp as in pictures attached. This is an old hard to find vintage Tissot and condition for its age is excellent but as you'd expect not perfect but it keeps superb time and looks beautiful. Please browse all 12 pictures.

The stainless steel chain in in lovely order and with the clasp is closed measures about 7.5cm which is adjustable via the clasp by about 1cm either way.

The watch was one of several handed down to me from my father. Unfortunately I do not wear them and hope to find this one a good home where someone who appreciates this lovely watch can make use of it. Wonderful timepiece.

Please take a close look at all 12 photographs as they are an accurate description of the condition throughout. Some minor scratches have been magnified in the pictures and the watch when on looks flawless and only upon close inspection will you be able to see the minor scratches. A very rare Tissot timepiece.
