Father John was a Roman Catholic priest with the Archdiocese of Newark and assisted during the installation and blessing of the cornerstone for Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Hillside, New Jersey on April 16, 1966. Later, Father John would serve as pastor at Christ the King church during the late 1970's and served there until 1981.
