This elegantly-shaped jug was probably used for cold water or milk, since the handle is not insulated.  It is a good quality item made from Silver Plate and is in excellent condition with minimal wear. There are a few minor dents which are hardly visible, and I have tried to show them in the photos.

It measures about 7.25" tall and  3.75" diameter.
