Some sellers on eBay come up with low prices on the actual product, but charge outrageous prices for shipping! You end up paying a lot more that way!

Do not get tricked into this!

What is for sale, here is

One (1) Brand New Artistic Audio Replacement Belt for Akai Turntables, models AP-B20-C, AP-B20C and APB20C. If you have this turntable, this belt will create the optimal amount of tension that your turntable platter and motor need to operate at designed specifications. It is made out of extremely high quality rubber, better than the rubber that the original belt was made from! This belt is Artistic Audio Part Number FRi-250.

This belt fits many other AKAI Turntables as well, I will be listing those in the future. If your turntable is not listed in my other offers, click on ASK SELLER A QUESTION on the lower left side of this page. I will be delighted to find your belt or take good measurements to insure you get a proper fit!

About this Replacement Belt :

This is one (1) turntable drive belt that is much higher quality (better rubber means better accuracy with less deviation, higher elasticity, and longer life) that those competitors who are selling belts like this for around $5.00. The "$5 belt, and those in its price range are made in sweatshops for (Hoover, I think) vacuum cleaners (seriously!), where exact tolerances are no where near as important. The vacuum cleaner belt is close to the right size. If your vacuum cleaner belt is 5% too tight, do you care? (It still sucks, right?) If your turntable belt is 5% too tight, that is a big deal! Turntable motors are small, and more delicate, and not only are you asking for variances in the speed (speed = pitch in the analogue world), but you risk killing the motor in a year or two. Turntable motors do not grow on trees. Do everyone a favor, don't buy one of those inexpensive belts! This belt features exact measurements, something you can not say for the five buck belts. The exact measurements of belts today varies slightly from those of years of production of these turntables. (I get weird looks from people at this point, but you should know the whole truth!) The primary reason is that the rubber made today is much higher quality than the original belts had. Higher quality rubber means higher elasticity. That means, in order to put the exact right amount of pressure between the platter and the spindle of the motor, the belt must be slightly smaller than the belt that was on the turntable originally. If the new belt was the exact same size, there would be too little pressure between the motor spindle and the platter, that might run now, but it will not belong before it slips a little every once in a while! I know some people, who are usually nuts about details, spend hours ordering belts and get them in and the "size is wrong". Some people selling this belt do get the size wrong, but when they get the correct belt (that is, one that puts the right amount of pressure on the motor spindle), the size isn't what they are expecting. Rest assured! This is the correct match for the turntables listed above.

This Artistic Audio belt has a List Price of $20.00 , however, I purchase a ton of them from Artistic Audio, and I get a discount! That allows me to pass the savings along to you!
The price in this offer reflects an introductory offer. If you want to buy one at the introductory price, click Buy it Now!
These Artistic Audio belts can be (and regularly are) sold for a lot more money! They rival the performance of the original belts that AKAI used when your turntable was new. I purchased 200 of various belts at a discount and I am offering you a chance to share the discount. I am doing this to build sales, get new customers, and establish a reputation on eBay as someone who is honest, fair, and has great deals on high quality products! And it is working! I am already ahead of my sales projections!
