I am not a fan of split shot on leaders. I prefer to use soft tungsten putty - I use to make my own based on a few commercial products - until I found JP's. I spin a small football shape on the leader and I am ready to go. Do not over do it - a little goes a long way. Also, it will not snag like split shot - it could easily pay for it self by eliminating lost flies from snags. Highly recommended. Made in the USA.
