Descriptions:
Made from tamarind heartwood (Tamarindus Indica), known as galih asem in Java (galih=heartwood, asem=tamarind). Very hard with reddish dark brown color. In Javanese culture, galih asem believed to bring salvation to the wearer.
Combined with striped material of Gliricidia Sepium, a medium sized leguminous tree with beautiful bright pink to lilac color flowers. Commonly known as Mexican Lilac, Mother of Cocoa or Quickstick. Quite heavy, has varied colors from yellowish grey to brown. In many countries, Gliricidia Sepium considered to be an important multipurpose legume tree.
*22 cm (8.7 inch) approx circumference.
*6 drum shape tamarind 16 x 20-22 mm average bead size.
*6 round shape gliricidia 16-17 mm average bead size.
Handmade, some beads maybe not perfectly shaped and a little different in size.
You will receive exactly item as shown in the pictures.
