IS5004 - Vital Stains is a general slide staining set for general biology. Vital staining refers to a technique where a dye, or series of dyes, are used to stain cells and tissue for observation under the microscope. These stains are chosen specifically because of their ability to be used on living cells without killing them. Includes five 30mL dropper bottles of the following chemicals:

1) Bismarck Brown
2) Brilliant Cresyl Blue
3) Cupric Acetate
4) Cupric Sulfate
5) Janus Green
6) Methylene Blue
7) Neutral Red

IS5008 - Bacteria Stains is used in the preparation of microscope slides. Includes seven 30mL dropper bottles of the following chemicals:

1) Methylene Blue, Loeffler's Solution

3) Carbol Fuchsin Solution
4) Carbol Rose Bengal Solution
