What is it?
The 3D printer build surface, or build sheet get rid of the need for blue painter's tape or Kapton Tape. It provides an optimal printing surface for printed objects, which can be removed easily after cooling down.
How to install
- Clean your build platform.
- If necessary, trim the build sheet to match the shape or size of your platform.
- Tear off 3M cover paper on the backside and stick it to the build plate. Starting from one edge to the other edge, smoothing with a dull edged card, such as a credit card, to smooth the sheet down.
- Adjust the nozzle height (usually it is 0.1 mm when printing ABS and 0.2 mm for PLA).
