Note: To test an SSR, the easiest way is to use a bulb. Please check the following video. A multimeter won't help since there's a small current leakage even if the output of the SSR is open.

This heat sink allows the SSR to handle up to 40 Amp without forced air cooling (in an open air environment). It has mounting holes in the bottom and a slot for 35 mm DIN rails (no clips).
